I started my career at Tri Cities Airport working for an airline carrier as a ticketing agent. From there, I moved on to get more into the travel industry. I worked for a travel agency in Kingsport and then made a move to First Class Travel in Bristol about 6 years ago. I earned my agent certification with the Institute of Certified Travel Agents in 2002 and my open Water Diver Certification in 2003. I have traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean & Hawaii. My name is Julie Taylor and I am a travel consultant with First Class Travel, specializing in vacation travel with over fifteen years experience. First of all I LOVE to travel and I love to share that excitement with other people. I have traveled extensively in the southeast United States, especially Florida. I was also able to see much of the western U.S. and Canada focusing on National Parks and less traveled state parks. I have explored the Caribbean by air and by cruise ship. I have been in the travel agency business since 1987. My specializations are: Disney (Florida), Golf in Florida or in Arizona, and Group Travel. I worked for the airlines for 20 years at Tri-Cities Airport, TN-Chicago O Hare-Greensboro, NC. Playing golf in Scottsdale, Arizona is one of my favorite trips. I have taken a group of golfers to Arizona for the past 10 years.

Having been in the travel industry for over twenty years, I have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world visiting all the continents except Antarctica. I prefer to arrange tours and cruises as I have experienced each personally. Also, I have worked with several large groups to plan trips either by tour bus, plane, cruise or a combination of all three. For several years, I have personally escorted a group trip either through the United States or abroad. Because of my travel experience, I feel very confident in planning trips for others, and especially enjoy planning honeymoons and family vacations. I am happy to answer any questions for first time travelers; and if I do not know the answers, I will gladly look them up for you.

I have been in most of the states, 19 European countries, two in South America, and Morocco in Africa. So, when I retired from teaching here in Bristol, VA, I decided I would like to help others plan their dream vacations. My name is Lynette Maxhimer, and I have been a part of the First Class Travel staff for over 4 years. For the past 3 years, I have been a home based agent. Technology has made it possible for me to book travel for my clients from Minnesota, West Virginia, Virginia, and Tennessee while sitting at my desk in Birmingham, Alabama. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota, and a Certified Travel Associate with over 17 years experience in corporate and leisure travel.
Having spent most of my life in the frigid Midwest, I love traveling to warm places. I have traveled to several of the islands in the Caribbean, including St. Thomas, St. John, New Providence and Grand Bahama Island, Grand Cayman, St. Marteen, St. Lucia and my personal favorite, Jamaica, "Mon". I have also been to Cancun and the Mayan Riviera. I am convinced that there is no better form of education than visiting a destination and personally checking it out! Hey, it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it! My travels in Europe include London, Paris, Geneva, Rome, Venice, Florence, and the spectacular island of Capri.
